Overview
The USB cable is used for communications between the host PC and the modular instruments.The USB cable can even be used with the SKN10 adapter when a module operates in stand-alone mode. As the adapter contains an USB-to-UART bridge, the user only needs to connect the cable to the adapter to remotely control the module.The USB cable can also be used with a platform where multiple modules have been mounted. In this case, the cable connected to the SK810 Interfaces Controller provides full control of the platform and the connected modules. Note that a second USB cable can be used to communicate with the platform while a module is already under remote control.
