In order to minimize noise coupling from power supplies’s EMI during operation, SPK platforms are powered from external power units. These are connected to the platform via a DSUB connector, which is located at the rear panel.

The SCK131 DC-Power Supplies Cable is provided for the purpose of connecting the platform to the power supplies. While Sisyph’s low-noise power supplies are recommended, any third-party PSUs can be used, in which case the SCK132 adapter must be used.

The SKC132 can also be used to connect the external power supplies to the platform without any intermediate cable. In this case, the SCK132 adapter is simply plugged into the platform’s DSUB-7W2 connector.
